Job Description |
To work with the City of College Station's Parks and Recreation Department in planning and programming events and programs for youth. The Recreation Assistant will work under the Facility Supervisor in administration and implementation of after-school programs. This position requires work in the evenings, weekends and holidays.

This position starts at $8.00/hr and can be increased upon your work and time elapsed. This position does not qualify for benefits. You can be promoted to a Youth Program Supervisor once you have worked long enough as a Recreation Assistant.
This position allows you to gain experience in: working with children, programming activities, planning special events, customer service, and staying in shape. Running around and planning activities with children has to be one of the most rewarding jobs because you get to see, and they tell you, just how much fun they are having and how much they appreciate you. You'll never feel more appreciated. |
