During my time here at the Lincoln Center, I have been in charge of the Arts and Crafts Club and Character Counts Week. While I do not have pictures of every activity, I do have some and pictures of their artwork.
Cards/Art Made for Me
For an activity one day, I had requested that our kids focused on kindness for the day. Our activity helped embody what it meant. I gave each one a piece of paper and ask that they draw, write or make something for someone else. Many drew pictures for friends or wrote letters to their parents. I was lucky enough to receive several of their cards.
Halloween Arts & Crafts
Bat Bookmarks
Every Friday, I organized a craft for the kids. Most of the time, I try to organize it around a holiday, recent event, or something we are focusing on. This day we made bat origami bookmarks for the Friday before Halloween.
Pumpkins & Sugar Skulls
This Friday, we created pumpkins and sugar skulls out of paper plates. We cut them into the shape they wanted and had them decorate their plate however they wanted.
Halloween Carnival
These are two pictures that were taken at our Halloween Carnival. This picture of one of my girls was cleared by her mom to be used. Often, I do not have my phone on me as it can become a distraction at work. However, when I do take pictures, it's of the children playing or doing an activity that I planned. It was too much to try to receive consent from all of the parents so those pictures are not included.
